DO NOT FALL FOR FREE INITIAL VISIT COUPON! I went for the first time to VCA with
a coupon in hand (for an annual wellness check for my two year old BT) and ended
up with a $500 bill! Although kind, the vet wanted to run endless tests on my
"bright eyed, happy guy"--- they took skin scrapings, glaucoma and eye fluid
tests, an entire panel of blood, urine, fecal tests---all came out negative
(surprise!) They also scared me into giving my dog heartworm meds---within
